In line with the Scottish Government guidelines, the DDT is taking a phased approach to the re-opening of the Braeport Centre.
Phase 1 will prioritise a small group of regular users who can show they both have Government approval to restart their activities and have National Governing body guidelines to follow. Please see our "What's On" page.
Phase 2 will allow other local groups to return. Some groups have already advised that they may not wish to return until the New Year due to the vulnerable nature of their attendees.
We understand that this is incredibly frustrating for everyone involved but we need to ensure the safety of everyone using the Centre.

The Braeport Centre is well situated and easily accessed, just to the North of Dunblane Cathedral with ample free car parking.
The building is owned by the Dunblane community and managed by the Dunblane Development Trust charity (DDT). Since the council agreed the transfer in 2017, the DDT have overseen a major upgrade of the building. New windows, doors, insulation and energy efficiency measures have been installed thanks to a £93k grant from Climate Challenge Fund. The building was officially transferred to the community in 2019.
Now it's time to make sure we continue to maintain and upgrade the Centre so it can be enjoyed by present and future generations. The historic building is in need of new toilets, an upgraded kitchen and office space, as well as an improved meeting room and a sociable communal area. We hope you will help us reach our goal of creating a fantastic space for the community in the heart of Dunblane.
There are three main rooms available for hire with a capacity of 80 in each of the two larger rooms and 50 in the smaller. There are also kitchen facilities which can be included with the hire and a small office for meeting space.
